truck is firing fuel pump working but wont started

   Hi, It could be electrical or fuel system...try to do one of these three things...one at a time. if unsuscessful, go to the next: * try to get a jump start if it starts, its the battery. * Unhook fuel filter hose from fuel filter to engine and crank. If no gas, it might be the fuel filter or the fuel pump. * remove one of the spark plug wires and insert a screwdriver into the wire, next, (without touching the metal in the screwdriver), get it to 1/4" closer to the engine block(gap between screwdriver and engine must be 1/4"). have someone crank the engine. if you don't see a spark, then it's electrical. in that case, check spark plugs and spark plug wires.
