I have a Seiko coutura chronograph watch. Battery went dead so had it replaced and now the second hand on the stop watch part does not go back to the 12 position. Have read directions on ho to reset but does not work.

The minute hand does move round every time the second hand does a full circle.  To speed this up you can keep the bottom button pressed in and the second hand wizzes round.

    Also look at:

Pull the crown all the way out.

Press the top button to move the "1/10 of a second" hand round to the right place.

Press the buttom button to move the "seconds" hand round to the right place.

I have not worked out how to move the minute hand round yet (maybe by keep rotating the second hand round).
