   Hi, Seth Cook was born with progeria, a rare genetic disorder that causes rapid aging, leaving him a boy of 11 with the body of an 80-year-old. Seattle Post-Intelligencer reporter Carol Smith and photographer Dan DeLong spent a year following Seth and his family. Their special report, "A Time to Live," ran last Thursday. Scientists, who only recently discovered the genetic mutation that causes progeria, have already learned a great deal about the process of aging from studying the disease.
