My grandmother found a rare James Dean record in her attic. I do not know what to do with it.
Do you have any suggestion?

It is a 45 RPM called James Dean on Conga Drums with Bob Romeo on flute. It says Limited Collectors Issue and has a price of $1.29.

Inside the sleeve was a promotional 45 RPM called Hear Hollywood with James Dean and Tony Perkins - from Rainbow Records, Lawndale, Cal.

First of all, Wow! I did not even know there was such a record of James Dean, how cool! Honestly I do not know too much about his Memorabilia or the value of it, I have dolls and posters and lots of neat items, but as far as what they are worth I have no idea. But after I got your message I went and looked on eBay because I know there is always really neat James Dean Items on there and I found this:

    And this:

Is this something like you have? Maybe if you keep an eye on what this sells for, or maybe emails the seller and asks them what their reserve is on it you will get an idea of the value?

If I were you, I would frame it and hold on to it for as long as I could, but if you wanted to sell it eBay is the way I would go, because people all over the world can see what you are selling.

If what you have is a promo, I am sure that will up the value on it. So perhaps you could take it to a dealer and they could help you.

    Good Luck!
