Question:

nordic track elliptical E5 si. Squeaky

I bought it new, had a friend assemble it who says he greased it as shown. But it has become so squeaky that I can't stand to use it! Do I need to take it completely apart again and re-grease it?

    I would guess it is the allen head bolts in the column. They need to be tightened up periodically. These are the bolts that have their heads visible about a foot off the floor (black heads on the silver column). You do not have to take any covers or plastic hoods off to access these bolt heads. My daughter has this exact model and that was the problem. The squeaking drove us crazy. The greased areas were OK.
