About a couple who wants to adopt a newborn baby boy (he works with a printing press (newspaper or something)) and they end up adopting a little girl who dies at the end.2) about a young woman who finds a baby basket (with a baby inside) outside her apartment door (set in Manhattan perhaps).3) (I may have dreamed this one up) It's a little bit like Captain Courageous...I think the boy (older than Harvey in CC) fell off the boat b/c he was smoking and he gets into lots of adventures (I don't know if a fishing boat picked him up or what), but at the end, one of his shipmates is walking on land and he has a leg injury...???
