   This answers mentioned above are baseless. We all know that many famous people they got married from different religions. They never converted their religion. FAMOUS BOLLYWOOD ACTOR RITHIK ROSHAN IS HINDHU & WIFE SUZANNE KHAN IS MUSLIM, SHARUKH KHAN IS MUSLIM & WIFE GAURI IS HINDHU ...ARBHAZ KHAN IS MUSLIM BUT HIS WIFE MALLAIKA ARRORA IS STILL HINDHU,THERE ARE SO MANY EXAMPLES ALSO. EDUCATED & MODERN PEOPLE DON'T GIVE IMPORTENCE TO RELIGION. WE HAVE TO BE MORE SPIRITUAL THAN RELGIOUS... ALL RELIGION TEACH US GOOD... REGARDING HEAVEN & h**l ..THAT IS JUST AN IMAGINATION.    Your wife cannot be a Muslim and live with you as a wife . A Muslim can marry only a Muslim . May I suggest you read about Islam and talk to her about Islam . If you accept the reason why she prefers Islam then the problem would be solved .    It has been 3 months since you post your question. How is you life now? To you question, in Islam she have the right to leave you if you stay in your religion that is Hindu. The best is for you to convert with her to Islam, and Islam is indeed the religion of fitra (nature) for humankind. The main teaching in Islam is aqeedah (believe)that there are nothing to be worshiped except Allah alone. Ibadah (practise submission/worship including prayer, fasting etc.) you can learn it along the way.     Hi, If your wife accept the Islam as a religion according to Islamic concept she can not remain with you as a wife so she have to take a divorce. Hope it helps
