   funny i read this article and not more than ten minutes , the fan quit and now my system shuts off too, every five minutes or so, i was trying to find out what khz output was and accidently came across this article about fan, gee wiz, very strange odd coincidenc, and no i cant spell, s.c.

   I read on another site, that a capacitor near the fan has burned out, causing the system to overheat and go into protection mode. I ask, because I had the same thing happen to me, about an hour ago.
