My three years old daughter has just started ballet 8 weeks back and it is obvious that she needs help from a professional ballet school but the schools does not offer private tutoring.
They start on their recital dance in January but I want to make sure she has a chance to be on the same level as the other girls as she is too young to start going to professional ballet schools. Do you have any ideas of what I can do to help her? I thought about taping the end of the class and then helping her at home but I want to make it fun and not that she has to be perfect.
In need to dire help and help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Teaching your young one fresh ballet is a fascinating experience. But as it is fun and exciting for your child, you need to be extra careful with all the steps and techniques that you might want her to practice. As ballet is all about dancing with body, only one wrong step can cause severe physical or internal injury for your child. I would highly recommend that you put your child in a professional ballet school as trained instructors takes care of all the basic techniques and put effort on your child at individual level to make their dancing grow. Most beginning ballet classes start with children at the ages of 3 to 5 and so you should not fear about your child lagging behind than others as they may be of same age. Plus your daughter has an eight week experience which is much more than those children who start fresh and know nothing about this art.
Hope my advice would be of help to you.
