I am about to perform on a stage that does not have marley and we are not allowed to use rosin. I was wondering if there was anything I could put on my pointe shoes to keep from slipping. I have heard about mole skin, but does it really work?

In order to tighten the ballerina shoes, i would advice you to sew the elastics closer to the heel, go for thicker elastics than the thin ones, and sew them tight. You can even use heel grips, one workable and effective way to get grip is to wet the back of the heel and shoe with water or use comfortable tights and wear the shoes with the tights rolled though its not advisable as many teachers don't accept this.
