My integra dvd player playing capablity has been deteriorating over the past year. The lse lense is clean. I took the unit apart and observed the disc actually wobbles once it starts spinning up on the spindle motor. If is lightly touch the disc, the vibration/wobble stops and the dvd read fine. I suspect the spindle motor mechanism is worn, but I can not detect any 'play' in the spindle. I have cleaned the weighted platter(The small module that rides in the black plastic holder nad is held on by three plastic tabs). Do you think its the spidle drive assembly and if so is that something that can be easliy replaced? By me??? or are special tools required?
