Question:

how to download a video from my digital Sanyo VPC-CG9GX camera onto a computer with Windows XP

I can download the still pìctures but have been unable to download or play the video pictures I have taken. Have tried following the directions in the instruction manual without any progress

    Ahhh...your query here is slightly different to what it said on your main site. It all depends on the file ending of the video files as to which application will play them. Most camera video files will play in Windows Media Player but perhaps you don't have the correct codecs. Take note of the file endings and do a search online for the suitable player/codec for them (ie .mpeg, .asf etc). Right click on the file and choose 'properties'. Under 'general' it tells you file type and also names the program it opens with. If you haven't got a suitable program there will be nothing listed. Post the file ending here and I will try and help further.Some cameras store files in weird formats that you need to download special programs/codecs to play them
