warm tea bags work wonders!!! and it isnt harmful to your baby either. Just hold a warm tea bag on the cut for about 10 minutes a few times a day and it will draw out any infection safely and naturally with great success. Work good for pets with infected eyes or sores.

Your description sounds like the normal look of a healing lip. Just watch it over the next 2 days to make sure it looks better and not worse. Oh, and mouth sores do heal faster than sores in other locations.
