What is the history of Gurkas?

i want to know about the Gurkas and some of the history on the gurkas. Does anyone know about it?

     Gurkas are inhabitants from Nepal and northern India who take their call from the 8th century Hindu warrior-saint Guru Gorakhnath. His disciple Bappa Rawal, born Prince Kalbhoj/Prince Shailadhish, supported the lodging of Mewar, Rajasthan (Rajputana). Later descendants of Bappa Rawal transferred further east to found the lodging of Gurkas, which in turn supported the Kingdom of Nepal. Gurkas District is one of the 75 territories of modern Nepal. Gurkas are best known for their history of valour and strength in the Indian Army's Gurkas regiments and the British Army's Brigade of Gurkas. Former Chief of employees of the Indian Army, Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw once famously said come seal Gurkas: ‘If a man says he is not afraid of dying, he is either lying or is a Gurkas.
    The legend resolves that Bappa Rawal was a teenager in obscuring, after he came upon the warrior saint where on a tracking down expedition with affiliates in the jungles of Rajasthan. In the 1814–1816, Gurkas War they pursued combat in resistance to the British East India Company army. The British were instilled by the Gurkas combatants and after arriving at a stalemate with the Gurkas made Nepal a protectorate. Gurkas performed as forces under bond to the East India Company in the Pindaree War of 1817, in Bharatpur in 1826 and the First and Second Anglo-Sikh Wars in 1846 and 1848.
