Hi, the "Second Amendment" topic header, and my repeated declamations that I am NOT an attorney, I've been getting a short ton of questions similar to yours. If they are "public," I add the appropriate disclaimer and try to answer, usually informing them that the first step would be obtaining a "certificate of release from civil disabilities." You've already done that, and I would have sincerely wished that you would have posted this as an open question so that others could benefit from the Q&A, and perhaps save me from having to answer any more "My boyfriend is serving three-to-five on an armed robbery beef. Can he get a rifle to hunt with when he gets out next year?" types of inquiries. Thanks
