Today my dog was dragged down the driveway cause the rope was stuck under the car. My dog is already a senior and can't walk. A person was walking by and called the cops. I went out for dinner and the animal control and local police went into my backyard and took my dog. They did not leave a note or phone number nor did they speak to anyone of the owners. The only way I know the animal control took my dog was because of my neighbors. Is that legal to do in the state of connecticut. Can I press charges on the officers because of stepping on private property? Please let me know.
