Are you familiar at all with those three guys who have painted their faces in blue and appear on the Pentium III processor commercials? I had heard that they are performers up north somewhere. Do you have any more information about them or could you direct my question to someone who would know?

Those men who have painted their faces in blue are infact a group known as The Blue Man Group. Basically, it is creative organization comprised of Chris Wink, Matt Goldman and Phil Stanton. The organization produces theatrical shows and concerts that feature music, comedy and multimedia. Besides the recorded music and scores for film and television and the television appearances for shows such as The Tonight Show, Las Vegas and Scrubs. All of the appearances of the organization star a trio of performers called Blue Men, who appear to have blue skin and no voice, hair, or ears. The original founding Blue Men still perform, but they have since then taken on administrative roles in the company. As a result of the success of Blue Man Group, a parent company called Blue Man Productions was created, which produces all the Blue Man Group shows in the world. It currently has a staff of over 50 people. The visual productions of the organization are centered on a trio of anonymous mute performers, called Blue Men, who appear in black clothing and blue grease paint over latex bald caps and play a mixture of distinctive, often percussive, instruments. Blue Men are performers of either gender who meet specific physical requirements and certain personality traits among other qualifications.
