I just replaced the lamp on benq pb7100 projector. the new lamp turns on for about 15 seconds before the projector shuts off again. I put the old bulb back in and it seems to work fine. the old bulb is a TOP UHP 250W F3. the New one is a the same but a K3. the replacement was given to me when I bought the projector. any Ideas on how to fix it or did they just give me the wrong bulb? the manual says that the projector will turn off it the screws arnt tightend enough, I double checked that twice and it still doesnt work. any Idas would be extreamly helpful.
