baby goat with lice. I have a 2 week old goat (Dexter) and was wondering if i could use sevin

I have a 2 week old goat (Dexter) and was wondering if i could use sevin dust on him? My neighbor uses it on all her goats and hasn't had a problem but her youngest is almost 3 months old. I also have chickens and wanted to make sure it wouldn't hurt them??
