   You can get it to work fine, BUT you need to edit the compataibility settings, and disable "Visusal themes", "Desktop Composition", and "scaling on high DIP settings".

   You can still run it in Windows 7 mode though.

   Make these changes, and it will resolve your crashing.

   Design Pro 5.5 exhibits the same lock-up behavior running on Windows 7 Ultimate, 32-bit.

   This is because the software isn't compatible with any 64 bit operating system. In fact it will cause your system to freeze and some core components will no longer function correctly. It would appear that the attempt to install 32 bit features to Windows 7 64 bit is the root cause of many problems. Avoid Avery products until a 64 bit version is released.
