a personal issue..on love.. need some wise person to guide me..

am in love with a man and we got d acceptance from both our homes. my parent believe in astrology and because d astrologer says that there is a chance for divorce if we marry, my parent are askin me to stop my love. now my confusion is, how to proceed. i cant blame anyone in this regard. my parent wants me to lead a good life and so they are afraid of my life being trapped into divorce. i dont wish to go against them.. and also i dont wish to leave my lover. can anyone give me a good guidance in this regard?

sounds pretty sucky, my parents weren't supportive of mine either...it depends if you believe in astrology first off. is it about your beliefs or hurting mom and dad. i don't know if i have any words that are useful, but have you felt any reason inside that would make you think you don't love this guy? Maybe spending a few months apart would help clear your mind of confusion. now, i know that is a crazy hard thing to do, but i know from experience, that if at the end, you realize you can't live without them and they feel the same, the go for it. but if you feel that you didn't know everything afterwards and that you feel strong doubts, then you save a lot of trouble for you both. i know the idea isn't a pleasant one, but if i may quote a dude who was quoting a dude: "Distance does to love what wind does to fire; blows away the smoke to kindle the great"

Try to think of all the reasons why you like this guy so much and present it to your parents. Then they will see you really love him. And try convincing them if you do get a divorce you will try to bounce back quickly. Thats just what I would do. I hope this helped and good luck!!
