    In some cases baby animals will get abandoned by their parents after a human has handled them, the reason behind this is because the scent of a human is now on the baby which will make the parent want to reject the baby. The best way to avoid this at all costs is to handle the babies with care wearing protective clothing, face masks, and gloves.
