Because people think why pay when you can get it free?

I used to use P2P networks like Kazaa and Limewire but stopped and never looked back a few years ago when I found and heard about Itunes, I have a 20mb download speed, what annoyed me about P2P was that you would get constant pauses or drops in connection with the person you were downloading it from.

Sometimes waiting for 10 minutes for a single MP3 after a few attempts drove me insane... When I finally got the track you listen to it and find it rubbish quality (not always but often)!

Itunes and Amazon and other sites like Last FM all have a great service at really good prices.

Between 0.79 and 0.99/track (£) is not going to break the bank for 256 bit rate quality music.

Also you can find the whole albums on these services and an album, Music video can take just a min or two to download with no dropping of connection then reconnecting to find the user on the P2P had disappeared.

I am a Musician with some work on Itunes and other Services and It's nice to get that few pounds at the end of the month, in the knowledge that you heard our music at top quality like we intended.

The amount of rubbish you get on P2P is amazing, I remember downloading 3 Beatles Tracks and getting some adult pic or something, Not what I asked for!

Viruses are another thing especially when downloading programmes on the P2P networks you can never find what you want.

Avoid them at all costs they are just not worth the hassle.

It's not the illegal thing about P2P it's the waiting and hassle that annoys you into uninstalling the application!
