Women seem to be quite picky about their girlfriends. Why is that, and what are they looking for in a potential friend?

    They look at their friends as competitors and want to make sure they win over them in the battle of the eyes. They look for someone who will be there for them but will not steal the spotlight. This is even true when they are in a relationship; they don't want their boyfriend checking out the hot friend.
