Deidara. He was too awesome for the manga so Kishi decided to get rid of him since if he stayed any longer Kishi'd mess him up. He was the only Akatsuki to fight with both Naruto and Sasuke (...and Kakashi), and he didn't fall fodder or anything.

For me the coolest naruto character is of course naruto. With its huge amount of chakra he can create and master any powerful techniques. If he become like Jiraiah even sasuke cannot defeat him.
The coolest Naruto character is Gaara. He can protect himself by the sand he has, but I feel bad about Gaara's childhood. Many people called him monster. He is also very cute. ^ ^ He rocks!!!!
