    If this is a general question and it has nothing to do with the exact facts and figures then it can be stated that 50 cent is richer than Will Smith. Considering the fact that both are actors as well as rappers, it is certainly not easy to figure out that who can possibly be the richer one. If we look at Will Smith, he started TV career in the early 90s. He became famous all over the world by his famous performance in one of the most watched TV program The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. He acting was very much appreciated and admired specially by the younger generation as most young guns also went on to copy his style of dressing and other features. On the other hand 50 cent (Curtis James Jakson), despite starting his career in the early 200s became one of the richest and second wealthiest performers in the rap industry, behind Jay-Z. On October 12, 2007, the Mayor of Bridgeport, Connecticut declared it "50 Cent Curtis Jackson Day". He was honored with a key to the city and an official proclamation. One of his homes in New York purchased for 2.4 million dollars in January 2007 and at the center of a lawsuit between Jackson and ex-girlfriend Shaniqua Tompkins caught fire on May 31, 2008 while he was out of town filming for a movie in Louisiana.
