I have a question regarding the American musicians. This is something for sure that the American musicians and singers are just not famous and admired within the U.S but they are equally liked and well known in most parts of the world other than the U.S. This is also quite understood that being famous and demanding, the American musicians must be playing in millions. I would like to know that at present, who happens to be the richest American musician.

There are two possibilities. One is of the richest musician band, which ofcourse involves a whole group and an individual musician or singer. If we talk about the richest musical band in the U.S that happens to be The Rolling Stones, who earn about $150 million plus annually, while if we talk on individual basis, it is the famous singer Madonna who makes about nearly a $100 million in a year. Madonna has sold more than 300 million records worldwide with 64 million certified albums. On the other hand the Rolling Stones became successful in North America during the so-called British Invasion of the mid 1960s. They have released 22 studio albums in the United Kingdom (24 in the United States), eight concert albums (nine in the US) and numerous compilations; their worldwide sales are estimated at more than 200 million albums. Sticky Fingers (1971) began a string of eight consecutive studio albums reaching number one in the United States. Their most recent album of entirely new material, A Bigger Bang, was released in 2005.
