I have Type 1 Latex Allergy with oral food syndrome. I have to carry an epi-pen and am not allowed to have bananas, avocado, kiwi, and pineapple at the moment. I am starting to react to mango, and tomato, but until the reaction is worse I don't want to stop eating those foods too. I have a blog at latexallergy-victoria.blogspot.com

Rubber industry workers and condom users are also at increased risk for developing a latex allergy.
