   dont' worry, Japan wouldn't export any items they would consider health hazards. Thats the sophistication of the japanese character. They are proud people, but they don't carry vanity.When they r wrong they don't hesitate to say 'We r wrong', once they made a promise it's a promise.  Example- when their country was bombered by America and when they understood their responsibility they admitted and made a promise not to use arms against any country. They r still doggedly remember their promise. That's why they observe 'Hiroshima & nagasaki day" every year to remind their younger generation the danger of war and the strength of peace.
