     Ricky Nelson has passed away December 31, 1985.
    Rick Nelson was an American singer-songwriter, instrumentalist, and actor. He put fifty-three pieces of music on the Billboard Hot 100 between 1957 and 1973, encompassing nineteen top-ten strikes, and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on January 21, 1987.
    Nelson started his amusement vocation in 1949 playing himself in the wireless sitcom sequence, The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet, and, in 1952, emerged in his first characteristic movie, Here Come the Nelsons. In 1957, he noted his first lone, debuted as a vocalist on the TV type of the sitcom, and noted a number one album, Ricky. In 1958, Nelson noted his first number one lone, "Poor Little Fool", and, in 1959, obtained a Golden Globe Most Promising Male Newcomer nomination after starring in the western movie, Rio Bravo. A couple of movies pursued, and, when the TV sequence was called off in 1966, Nelson made occasional appearances as a visitor celebrity on diverse TV programs.
    Nelson and Sharon Kristin Harmon were wed on April 20, 1963, and separated in December 1982. They had four children: Tracy Kristine, twin children Gunnar Eric and Matthew Gray, and Sam Hilliard. On February 14, 1981, a child was born to Nelson and Georgeann Crewe. A body-fluid check in 1985 verified Nelson was the child's father. Nelson was committed to Helen Blair at the time of his death in an airplane smash into on December 31, 1985.
