I think the movie was not very good and it did not go well on the box office as well. Anyone know why rob zombie is filming Halloween 2.

    Halloween is an 1978 American Independent horror film which was directed and produced by John Carpenter, it was written by Debra Hill, the cast of the movie include the famous actress Debra Hill. The film was set in the fictional Midwestern town of Illinois.
    Halloween was produced with a budget of about $320,000 and also grossed $47.3 million at the box office in United States and almost $60 million worldwide, it is equivalent to over $203 million as of year 2010, it also became one of the most profitable independent films. In 2006, it was selected for preservation in Americas National Film Registry by the Library of Congress , because the movie had a significant culture, history and also its significance.
    Halloween influenced many countless horror films, especially during the early to mid 1980s. On the other hand Canadian horror movie named Black Christmas also used the techniques that are used in the Halloween movie. As the movie was a great success so the idea came into the mind of Rob Zombie to make the sequel of the movie Halloween part 1. Zombie is doing a complete research and planning for his new movie and looking to make it on the same platform to make it hit and successful. Zombie will be using the characters Laurie and Michael in which there will be story about their relationships and connections.
