Dear... Most people enjoy the inferiority of their best friends. Please if U don't mind can we be friends and get to know each other slowly like the beautiful butterflies comes out from their lavers slowly ( smiles). I will like you to contact me directly with my email: fatusmiles@yahoo.com. Thanks and remain bless...

  2. Guest25034709

I hope he fixes those snaggleteeth before they stick him in front of a camera again.  They are distracting.

  3. Guest24989318

Yes, and he can finally ditch those annoying Holmes kids!

  4. Guest24956842

He's getting his own show, it's in the works, no more Holmes for him!

  5. Guest23587084

I saw him at Home Depot once.  He was very congenial.  I would watch his show if they gave him one.

  6. Guest23586966

  7. Guest22847087

LOL, nope, maybe his foot fell asleep;)

  8. Guest22833134

Does it seem to anyone else that Damon has a slight limp?  Does he have a club foot?

  9. Guest22797978

Just looked it up on the forum, the whole thing is copied from there, the first poster seemed to be responding to a question posted by someone else asking if he was married and then the moderator made the response about the rest of the crew being spoken for as well. I suppose its up for interpretation whether she is confirming the married thing or not. It doesn't really matter anyway, he seems great at his job and I could definitely see him carrying his own show.

  10. Guest22791695

No, no.  Channels apparently copied and pasted that second part from a thread.  It was posted 2007 probably on Mike's fanforum.

  11. Guest22791126

Since she said "too", it seems as if she was agreeing with what the first poster said and then referring to the rest of the crew. That's how it reads to me anyway but since none of us wrote it, all we can do is continue to speculate. It would be a big drag if he came out now and started talking about his personal life, what would we have left to gossip about;)?

  12. Guest22785223

'Spoken for' doesn't mean 'married.'  Nor does 'most' mean 'all.'  Therefore a:  he could very well have just been in a steady relationship b:  in said relationship at the time, ie:  2007.

  13. Guest22784677

I think all of the crew are quite articulate and yes, Damon is married.

I would have to agree with you Channels. All around, the crew is articulate and attractive! Most of them are spoken for too.

So she's the mod.  Doesn't mean she's going to correct or deny his status.  You don't see any evidence that he's single/straight/g*y/married/whatever on the show.  He may have told her that if it comes up not to say anything at all.

It seems he wants to keep his personal life away from the public.  Maybe it's his way of keeping his feet on the ground.  If that is the case, good on him.  It's nobody's business but his and whoever he may be with or not.

  15. Guest22724849

Do you know for sure that he is single?  It was said on the Mike Holmes fan forum that he is married.  Mike's daughter is a mod there, so I'm assuming she would know.  It was said some years ago though.  Maybe things have changed now?

  16. Guest22724600

Yes, please give him his own show and film it somewhere really hot so he always has his shirt off, and his pants, LOL, lets have him work in nothing but his safety boots and hard hat;)! I am so glad that man is single, now if I could only bump into him so I could introduce myself, he wouldn't be single for long;)!

  17. Guest22633286

My bad. I agree, my statement was poorly worded. I was absolutely talking about my own life experiences and sharing my opinions.  I read somewhere that he had never been married but it was definitely not a quote from him personally. I should have said if he has never been married he would very likely fall into that category of that type of man. He may very well be a happily married man with children, who knows. Or he could be a divorced man, he may even be a widower, I don't know him personally so I can't say. If I did know him I certainly wouldn't be chatting about him online, divulging details about his private life. Whether he is a dedicated bachelor or a dedicated family man doesn't matter at all to his job and is ultimately none of our business. He appears to be a good contractor and is enjoyable to watch on television, this much I do know, everything else is rumour and speculation.

  18. Guest22627694

No, you hold on.  You are projecting your personal life and experiences on a man you don't even know.  How do you know he has never been married, isn't currently or doesn't want to be someday?  You don't.  You don't know anything about him other than he is on a tv show.  Your experiences with "fun" men have nothing to do with him.  You are assuming a personality on him that you have no basis for.

  19. Guest22627679

Either that or someone lucked in with their telescope.

  20. Guest22627673

Hold on now, poster 22622040 may not be full of it. I guess it isn't really kissing and telling if its anonymous. If you actually are getting some, enjoy! If not, I'm sure there are plenty of ladies who do. The guy is a good looking middle aged man who has never been married, that is a lifestyle choice. These types are fun to date, just don't get too attached because it never lasts too long. I'm a young professional woman, focused on my career and these are the men I enjoy dating. I have no interest in getting married, I have a beautiful apartment that I don't want to share with a man and I enjoy dating this type. You never have to worry about them being too clingy, or getting too serious and wanting to get married, in fact they are happy to get together a few times a month, they are busy with their own careers and lives. You rarely, if ever, go to their place and when they come over to your place they rarely stay the night(which means they aren't there long enough to mess it up and won't leave stuff there:)). You don't have to worry about meeting their family and friends, or introducing them to yours. Usually you just enjoy going out a few times a month, sometimes you might take a trip together, which is a nice perk. The rest of the time you are free to go out and socialize with friends, and to date other people. It can be a very comfortable and fun relationship. Of course, this kind of relationship does not work with someone you work with because you see each other too much and that ends up being the only time you see each other. Not only that but they tend to go on way longer than they ever would if you didn't work together because, let's face it, men are horrible at ending things and if they have to see you at work everyday they will just let things drag on forever, and you will end up wasting a lot of time. Not everyone wants to settle down, get married and have kids and there is nothing wrong with that. If you are someone who wants to settle down with an older guy then you want to date the men who have been married, they usually want to get married again. Statistically it is women who end relationships more often, so don't judge a man because he is divorced. If you want a serious relationship the divorced guy is the way to go;). You can't change a dedicated bachelor who has chosen to be single for half of his life, you won't be "the one" who makes him want to settle down, real life is not a hollywood movie. These are great men, enjoy them and have fun and if you want it to last for a little while then don't get too serious. I will get married some day but for now, I am enjoying life and having fun. Hats off to Damon for being a great contractor, having a great job and enjoying his life, I really enjoy watching his show!

  21. Guest22622919

Poster 22622040, you are full of it.  Watching him on tv doesn't count as seeing him first hand! You are just adding to the hype and gossip.

  22. Guest22622524

    Really?

  23. Guest22622040

Mmmmhmmm! I've seen that first hand, trust me, the viewers would be pleased;)!

  24. Guest22607895

Hmm, show ideas.  Let's see.  I'm thinking have Damon come in, fix something while it's hot out, swing a few hammers, he gets naked, film it, show it.

  25. Guest22596775

Or maybe they don't, LOL. Market research, no? Obviously not the BS rumours about the individuals on the show but any comments about the actual show is free feedback. If I were a show producer I would read everything. I definitely don't think the people on the show read this c**p, at least I hope they don't, not healthy for the self esteem, even if most of it is in good fun.

  26. Guest22591546

ROFLMAO!!  networks read the threads.  Yes, and I'm sure Damon and all the Holmes kids and employees check it each night before bed!  LMAO!

  27. Guest22591252

I didn't say to stop objectifying but, let's also come up with some show ideas:)). I'm sure the networks look at these comment pages, if we come up with a great show idea maybe it will actually happen, you never know.

  28. Guest22585627

    Spoilsport.Lol. ;)

  29. Guest22585356

Let's come up with some show ideas, see if we can't get a great idea together and help things along. Not that commenting on his body parts isn't fun but it isn't very productive;).

  30. Guest22575479

I think he was saying to point out the steps for the new deck were deep enough for even his foot.  If you live in Canada just go to HGTV.ca and they have the eps online.  If in the States, I dunno... you could try the website, it might work.

  31. Guest22575194

Blast!  I missed that one!  I will have to look for it in reurns.  Was he bragging or just sayin'?  ha ha

  32. Guest22571017

In 'Watch Your Step' he stated they were a size twelve.  Hope that helps.  :)

  33. Guest22570920

Looks like AT LEAST a size 13 to me!  Or maybe wishful thinking...

  34. Guest22565205

Well he does wear a size twelve shoe....... Lol.

  35. Guest22564242

Well, I did like the biceps action I saw during the NOLA days.  However, his hands DO look huge, if you catch my drfit.  he he ;)

  36. Guest22557912

Does it matter which half?  :?

  37. Guest22557418

I would watch Damon's show, but he would have to be half-naked ;)

  38. Guest22549512

     Love it! Do it!

  39. Guest22375872

Wouldn't that be a gas. Damon and Carl.  Not the Holmes'.

  40. Guest22163623

Seriously! Give the real construction guys their own show and give Holmes and his kids their own realty show, it can be like canada's version of the "Hasselhoffs".

  41. Guest22137503

No?  I don't watch that much.  Guess I'm wrong.  Maybe that's why Damon is always barking at him?  Why isn't just the Damon and Carl show at this point?  Not even Mike Sr. does anything.  Now you've convinced me that he should have his own show, or leave HI and come work at my house ;)!

  42. Guest22135999

     LOL, mj works hard?! LMFAO!!!!!

  43. Guest21978179

Regarding more Holmes kids, I think MJ works hard.  But Sherry?  I mean really?  Waste of space.  She just does busy work.  Maybe she just likes to follow Damon everywhere he goes.

  44. Guest21977308

Ah yes, but remember, Mike already lost not only Shawn Morren, but also Benji Green and Desmond Hamlyn.  And while they may have not gone onto shows of their own, they have probably started their own businesses(Shawn did) or are working for someone else, which is technically competition.  Either way.  Mike may have felt, at that time, that losing anyone else would be unacceptable.  You never know.  People are funny that way.  The person we see on telvision, in public forums, etc. is not necessarily that man in everyday reality.  He may very well have asked or put in contract that Damon not leave to go for his own show.

  45. Guest21970402

That would be a pretty selfish request on Mike's part. Everyone deserves their own shot at success. Considering Damon has been a loyal contributor to building the empire you would think the boss would be more supportive and less insecure about a little healthy competition. I'm sure if one of his useless kids wanted their own show he would be all for it. I guess that is less threatening though since they are so horrible on camera;).

  46. Guest21951074

Doubt it will happen.  He's said himself that he would do almost anything Mike asks him and I would imagine that was something Mike asked him not to do.  That and he probably doesn't think he could compete witth the Holmes Empire.

  47. Guest21937147

meh, not really. I'm sure he can't really be himself while he has to be mindful of deferring to the boss. Not to mention that this show sucks, its just the same old c**p with a little cgi and another holmes kid thrown in. It would be nice to see him go off on his own with a new concept.

  48. Guest21832294

In a way, he already has his own show.  Yes, he has to share the spotlight with Mike for thirteen of the fifty minutes but still.  He's the prominent host when you think about it.  I don't know what it's going to be like in the new season coming up in Jan. but he had one season mostly to himself.

  49. Guest21898635

Damon is pretty good.  Seems to know his stuff.  But why, oh why, does Mike keep putting his kids in there?  Are they just fillers or what.  Cut me a break.

  50. Guest21781011

LOL, his mom, that is hilarious!!! but...I still agree with the post, even if it is gushy, the points are valid.

  51. Guest21777013

Because anyone who gushes about him like that must be his mom.  Really, he's just some regular guy who you probably don't even know.

  52. Guest21776090

    What makes you say that?

  53. Guest21772463

I didn't know Damon's mom posted on this site.

  54. Guest21741285

I love HOH but I will admit MH does get a little grating at times.  I wish they wouldn't script some of the stuff that they do.  It just makes the crew look stupid.  I also have to agree about MJ and Sherry being less than ... involving.  Maybe they just haven't figured themselves out yet.

  55. Guest21692678

LOL, that is hilarious, it is impossible for anyone to appear arrogant standing next to Mike Holmes, that man comes across as so arrogant and disingenuous. Damon is the only reason I watch the show, I couldn't stand Holmes on homes before he was hired. I actually mute the tv for the first and last 15 min of HI when he is on, his voice just grates. It has been a real pleasure watching Damon grow and improve on camera. I love the idea that he worked his a*s off for 20 years as a contractor and now has an opportunity to do something different. He's a natural on camera and not just as eye candy. The camera loves him, it is what it is, its too bad that some people are envious and want to cut him down. If mike holmes can handle going from contracting to television I think Damon can probably handle it too. Damon actually manages to deliver on camera without sounding pompous, MH can't do that and he's been doing it longer. Don't even get me started on his kids, a cardboard cut out has more personality than the two of them combined.

  58. Guest21693767

Ty Pennington is one of the most annoying people on TV.  Damon isn't THAT annoying, but still annoying.

  59. Guest21693001

I feel the same way aout Ty Pennington.

  60. Guest21685068

Do you really want specifics?  Just b/c he's eye candy doesn't mean he deserves his own show.  His overall demeanor is unappealing to me as a viewer.  Just my opinion.

  61. Guest21684016

    How so?

  62. Guest21676125

I think he seems arrogant, esp. on HI.  On HOH not so much, but now that he is more of a "co-host"  he seems like a jerk.

  63. Guest21669188

I get the impression he doesn't want his own show.  He spent twenty years working as a contractor.  Being on television is far more difficult simply because you have to keep a certain image on camera all the time.  And it's probably very frustrating.

  64. Guest21631322

It was Trading Spaces.  I don't see Damon as "having it."  Sorry.

  65. Guest21630572

Let's get contacting people! This guy has it! Someone give him his own show and let him prove himself. I think he could be bigger than Mike Holmes. Look at how well Ty Pennington did, who even remembers the show he started on?

  66. Guest21590454

Why should he get his own show?

  67. Guest21550732
When he decides he wants his own show and someone from a network contacts him to do one about doing one.
