What would be the physical characteristics of an Italian girl? How would you differenciate italian girl from another nationality without knowing.

    I am an italian-american my moms family is from Sicily. I have long, thick dark brown hair, big brown almond shaped eyes, very short. my weight is also in my thighs and have a big ol booty ;) i have a small frame with a c-cup i also have olive toned skin which tans amazingly. i wouldnt trade any of it for a thing. i am proud to say i am ITALIAN :D

     I'm Italian, German, Scotts-Irish, French, English, and American, but mainly Italian.  I have thick, curly, bronze colored hair and almond eyes that are a bit on the small side, but not too small.  I have somewhat thick, black eyebrows that are defined.  I'm 5'1 and 14 years of age wearing a C-cup.  I have medium but full lips with a little hair on my lip..(sadly :'(   ).  I have a small nose with a bump just underneath my bridge and dashes of freckles on my cheeks and nose.  My face isn't that long, but it isn't fat either, sort of in the middle (heart shaped??).  I have broad shoulders and small feet:) (4 in kidsXD haha), sort of wide hips, but my stomach isn't that flat( i'm not scrawny or that thin, just average but not that meaty)  I have been mistaken for Hispanic before and like most, I have to shave my legs... A LOT!:)

     I am half Scottish and half Italian but I take none if not little of my physical traits from my Scottish side. I have grown up and lived in Scotland my whole life but I visit Italy to see family and was brought up by my Italian side. I am 5`5, curvy hour glass figure (Large hips, tiny waist and a J cup size). I have when at my most pale very sallow olive skin and after a couple of hours in the sun I can turn several shades darker and the darkest I go is a very deep caramel brown. I have long, straight, thick black/brown hair with natural red highlights, hazel almond shaped eyes and very full cupid's bow lips. Most people automatically think I am Italian but I have been mistaken for being Spanish and Greek and the most obscure I have been mistaken for is being from Nepal but I think that last one is a bit of a stretch. Hope this is of some help :)

     I'm half Italian and half Swedish, my father's side of the family hails from Sweden and Sicily respectively, and I carry a Swedish surname, but I am FAR from Scandinavian looking. I'm 5'0, and have an hourglass shaped body (carrying most of my weight in my thighs and hips), and an olive skin tone. I have a long-ish face with a long nose that has a bump in the middle when looking at me in profile, thick wavy brown/black hair with a few natural reddish highlights, black naturally arched eyebrows (which grow extremely long and fast unfortunately haha), almond shaped hazel eyes, and full lips with a cupid's bow. I am also freckley. My grandmother and great grandmother however, were very tall women, so I guess I take after my mother and my great great grandmother Angelina... I got the short end of the stick, literally. It just depends on what region your family comes from in Italy. I have been mistaken for being Jewish (on numerous occasions), Hispanic, and Greek, so Guest6872087 I feel you there.

    I wan born and raised in Liguria (North.west Italy near the French border), i have little spanish,french blood in me and who knows what else. I'm short with a hourglass figure. I've got light green eyes and light brown hair with some red highlights and very light skin. My dad had olive skin,black hair and light blue eyes, my mom is blond with brown eyes.  Almost everyone in my family has blond or red(my uncle) hair and light skin including my grandmonther and all her relatives who were from sicily.

     I am of 100% Italian background (was born in Ita ly) and when I was a teenager wished I could look like the "all American" girl next door...you know, fair skin, blue eyes, straight blond hair. But know that I am older I realize  I love the fact that my heritage is Italian. I am proud of my thick dark hair, my olive skin and mmy full figure. I am at my ideal weight and eat healthy though no matter how little I weigh I am always full figured and I like the way I look. I think everyone has a certain type of beauty that they should be proud of.  You  should always be the best YOU that you can be because noone else can;)

    im adopted, so all that i know of is that im 50% italian... im 14, im 4 feet 11... rather short for an italian, huh? i do talk with my hands a lot, i use kind of a "song" accent when i speak.. i have a very athletic body shape, im rather thin.. i have a tannish olive skin all year around, and a dark brown tint of hair (recently put in some blonde highlights in)... i have a lot of freckles too. my eyes are brown towards my pupul, green around the middle, and a blueish color around the outside. i used to have dark brown eyes, now they are turning blue... which is kinda strange. i have a huge bust, no matter how much i loose weight, it will be the same.. and i have big hip bones. i have lots of hair around my lip, stomach, and back... my mom tells me its just a italian trait.. is that true?

    I am an Italian- American 15 year-old teenage girl.  I am 5'4 and have an hour-glass small figure.  My bone structure is really small especially in my shoulders and collar-bone.  I do have thighs and a big butt and am B-cup busted.  As of now, my skin is pale because I have worked hard to keep it that way because its usually really dark. (I haven't worked so hard that I don't go outside.  I do swim and what-not I just wear a really high SPF)  My skin is olive-toned and I have golden-brown eyes with a few green flecks in them and my hair color is strange.  I keep it natural and its thin, fine, and wavy with a lot of natural volume and body, and I have a lot of hairs.  Every strand has blonde, light brown, and a slight tint of red in it.  I am sad to admit but I'm a pretty hairy person that shaves her legs a lot.  I have an oval face with high cheekbones.  I have a small mouth but its pretty full on top and bottom.  I have naturally arched eyebrows and my nose has a "bump" at the end, slightly flared nostrils, and is curved when you look from a side profile.  Also in my ancestry I have some French, German, and Polish, but I am manly Italian and barely Polish from my dad and some French and German my mom.  I also talk with my hands a lot.

     I am english but with italian/dutch ancestry. Like most italian women I am short, just barely reaching 5,4. I have very thick, dark brown hair that is naturally curly, arched dark brown eyebrows (which i hate because they grow fast), olive skin that never burns. I have hazel eyes (a mix of my dads very dark ones and my mums blue) a downward turned nose that has a slight bump that can only be seen from the side (a characteristic many Mediterranean women share) and a gently rounded face. I have a very thin waist but hips that flare out (an hourglass figure)

    I am 18 years old. I stand about 5'4" and I have a very dramatic hourglass shape. my mearsurements are usually about 36-26-40in. I have very full thighs and hips. I have very thick hair that has a mixture of every color. I litterally can seperate my hair and point out strands of every natural color.  I have very large blue, blue eyes, and a full lower lip. my jaw line is strong but not to sharp. I have fair-ist skin but it is of an olive shade. I also have a very distinct nose, it is very strong, but thin.

    My father is half Italian, and half Norwegian. My mother it a mix of Irish, German. Dutch. and Native American. I have a lot of my fathers looks and I am a deffinate mix of Italian and Norweigian. I get asked if I am one or the other constantly.

    I also have many Italian traits. I am very independent, loving, and romantic, but can be very short tempered. I am a natural flirt and I unintentional seem to lead guys on. I talk constantly and I am very family oriented. I share all my thoughts and I love to eat.

     my mums side are all from Trieste (in italy) and slovenia(on the border of italy). Apparenlty slovenian people are supposed to have fairer skin and hair with blue eyes.(well thats what i've been told) and my dads side are Australian with an english and irish background.

    I have dark auburn hair pale skin and blue eyes even though my mum has olive skin, and brown hair(strangely blue eyes though). My dad has light brown/blondish hair and  blue eyes also. i have 3 other siblings.My older sister has pale skin as well and has blonde hair while my older brother and my other sister have blonde hair also but they both have light olive skin and also tan easily in summer.

     Well, I am mostly Italian. I do have a little Irish in me too though. But I favor my Italian side. I am pretty short (5'2) with very think hair and thighs. I have dark curly hair.     I'm 14 and a girl and im italian american, and my family originated from sicily. im strange though because i dont look italian at all, im very pale and tall and very thin, a ruler shape, and have light red hair and blue eyes. people always notice that im irish, which i am a small percentage of, but theyre always surprised to find out that im italian and also native american. haha so i dont know what exactly happened to me cause the rest of my family are tan and dark haired... its just wierd.

    I am Italian-American. I have dark brown hair with reddish highlights and an hourglass figure. I am 5 foot 4 and my eyes are large , oval, and warm brown. I have pale skin, but it tans very well without burning. Most people do not believe that I am Italian since I do not have the dark olive skin tone( which is typical of Sicilians and southern Italians). Like Guest6872087, I often get mistaken for some other nationality such as French or Jewish. Americans are brainwashed into thinking that all Italians are dark skinned.

    It really depends on how much Moorish influence is in the lineage. I'm an Italian woman with light brown hair (natural blond highlights) and green eyes. I've been asked if I was of French ancestry before (whatever that means). My mother's family was from Perugia. All of the women are short and curvy (even pear shaped) with light to medium skin that tans beautifully, thin auburn and light brown hair, and hazel and brown eyes. My father's family was from Campagnia. That side of the family has an olive complexion, thick, darker hair and pale blue/gray and brown eyes. This side has a more prominent nose. Again, the woman short and curvy. Both sides have very full lips and large eyes.

    my grandmother is irish and my grandfather is italian. and i'm weirdly mixed i think. i have black hair and brown eyes. i burn then tan very easily b/c i have an irish skin tone, i'm very light skinned. and i have an hour glass shape which i think is more italian. i have thighs and a bigger lower half and my waist is small. in most cases if your of mixed then in most cases u have more italian characteristics than the other. it also depends on what part of italy. if it's north then u might get a wider variety of characteristics, if it's from the southern part u will most likely get darker skin, hair and eyes.

    i am an mostly italian, but on my mom's side im scotch-irish and cajun. my grandfather is from colobria(southern italy) he has dark olive skin, black wavy hair, and dark brown eyes he is also about 6'1-6'2. i(a teen female by the way) am about 5'2 naturally dark brown hair, brown eyes, and light olive skin (i tan VERY easy). i have a hour-glass figure, i tend to carry my weight in my b*****s. i have high-cheek bones and full lips a normal/small nose. full cheeks though. i am athletic, but not competitive. i hope this helps!!! =]

    I am a 13 year old Canadian-Italian girl (grandparents immigrated to Canada) All of my granparents are from northern Italy: Mom's parents from Friuli, and Dad's from Veneto. My dad's side has mostly medium brown hair (auburn), the girls are thin but curvy and are semi-short around 5'4, and have pale green eyes, and tanned/olive skin. My moms side has a mix of brown hair, and my grandmother was a red-head aswell as my uncle and some other people, they have golden brown eyes, they are semi-fair skinned, and are very short 5'2 with a curvy body. I have a mix of both, I have golden-brown eyes, medium brown hair (with a red undertone,) I am average height about 5'4 but still growing, I am pretty thin not curvy, and have a tanned olive skin tone. So I think the looks of a northern italian girl can varry.

    I am an Italian American teenager. Female. Even though I have some Russian thrown into the mix I don't look a d**n thing like my mother. I'm about 5'8ish to 5'9ish. Broud shoulders for a chick with a long face and dark brown hair. Long thin nose and and my hips width is about even with my rip cage. MONSTROUSLY vampiric looking hands. My hands are every bit as big as my brothers (who looks straight up russian) and large feet. Excess amount of hair I dare say. And a short temper is a dirty mouth. I can't help it. Haha.

    If from northern italy there's a good chance of a blonde pale person with blue eyes. Other wise it's mostly a dark haired dark eyed individual with pale skin. The only olive skinned italians are from Sicily.

    Definitely brown hair, dark brown eyes, often short and usually carrying weight in the thighs (with a smaller upper ribcage than most women). Eyes are often deep-set, hair is thick, and an olive skin tone is common.

    Well my grandfather was full blooded Sicilian and was olive skinned with thick, curly, black hair. My mother has blue eyes with thick, brown, curly hair and olive skin. I have thick, brown, curly hair as well with an olive complection, but I have green eyes. I am 5'8. I also have wide set hips.

    My paternal grandmother came from Sicily, and she has very dark,olive skin with dakr brown eyes, about 5ft, and black hair. My mother and her side(whose family comes from Sicily and Naples) are rather on the tall side (between 5ft 8-11-ish), and have fair skin,hazel or brown eys, and thick black hair. I am a boy by the way. It really depends on the area of Italy that you are refering too,as the case of northern Italian girls may be fair, as opposed to the Greek-like southern Italians. It all depends on the pattern migrations of many ancient mediteranian peoples,such as Latins,Carthagians,Etruscans,Greeks,ect.There is no broad overview,espcecially if its Italian-American girls, because many of the girls with Italian surnames are likley a mix of many European heritages(or even of mixed ethinticity). Everyone's a unique child of the old country:) Im a boy by the way, and I have an Austrian/German surname but I exhibit many Italian physical traits.

    I am an Italian- American teenage girl. I am about 5'4. they say italian woman are short but my great grandmother Vinera was a very tall woman..so i guess it depends. Anyway, I have very dark thick hair/ thick black eyebrows with very fair skin. I have an hourglass figure and I carry most of my weight in my thighs. I am small framed so I am not heavy at all. Even though both sides of my family are Italian- they look completely different. I look like my fathers side of the family. Most people dont believe that I am Italian. Usually I get mistaken for being Jewish or Greek. Does that happen to any other Italian woman out there?
