Holborn is the easiest as there are exits on to Kingsway. Some have suggested Temple, but I wouldn't advise that unless you know London very well as it could be quite complicated to navigate from there to Kingsway. Waterloo or Charing Cross for mainline services
Looks like you need the tune to Temple, with London set out the way it is you the nearest station will be the one trains from where you live run too.
Yes Temple or you can get off at Holbourn station and walk straight down Kingsway.
If you are getting to London via Waterloo station you can walk across Waterloo Bridge and then you are more or less there. Also its something I recommend to anyone going to London as so often we miss the sights by staying underground.
