What is the history and value of my indian maiden stamped 1938, Austin Scultpure, Acoma?

She is in perfect condition, She is kneeling, her arms like wings lifted up, her feet behind her. She rests atop a pedestal.

    I found out she is named FREEDOM SPIRIT. No one seems to know anything else. Acoma created her, but has no bio. Austin stopped making the Americana line in the late 1990's. She is hand painted and hand patina'd. Can anyone provide any bio on Acoma, and the present value and any history to this piece? Thanks.
