What is a easy good video editing program?

Looking for a program that Windows can use. Not really needing to many effects just something for video and audio and such just some basic stuff. I'm not much of an expert so preferably something easy for beginners or at least has a guide or tutorial or something.

    Hi, Try avidemux it's easy to use, you'll find in the repos, I don't know what kind of files doas it supports but whit .avi's works like a charm.... And also you could try cinerella it's more complex but it's a powerful video editor and it's also in the repos
