    The Reserve Bank operates a Securities Lending Facility on behalf of the Australian Office of Financial Management (AOFM). The securities available through the facility are any fixed coupon Treasury Bonds currently on public issue. The Reserve Bank will sell these securities, on an issue-by-issue basis, under repurchase agreement. This facility allows market participants to borrow bonds that are not readily available from other sources in the market.
