There are soooo many to choose from:
Do you want to stay indoors or go out?
Do you want to display or keep it private?
Detail oriented or not? Artistic? Creative? Organizational?
You could try: stamps, coins, collecting matchbooks or just about ANYTHING else, press/dry flowers or leaves; needlecrafts like embroidery, crocheting, hooking a rug, photography, drawing or painting; home decorating; cooking from recipes; learn a language; genealogy.
Well there's a few. Hope you find something soon.
I enjoy beading. Your local craft store will have the basics and look at magazines, jewelry shows on tv, catalogs, etc for ideas. If you chose the stretchy cord for bracelets you can tie the ends together with a square knot and dab the knot with a little superglue. Lots of fun and great gifts.
Also it keeps your hands so busy you can't eat, so it is a good diet, if you need one. Have fun
Try knitting.I love knitting. It is so much fun.All you need is a pair of knitting neddles and yarn.Hope I helped=)
Sounds like you need something involving creation, i.e. artistic in nature or totally immersive (draws your attention completely). What about art? Watercolor painting and pencil or charcoal sketching are both relatively inexpensive. Music is a bit costlier, with the instrument being the main source of cost--but you only have to buy the instrument once.
Or what about something nature-involved, like hiking or bird-watching? Nature does wonders for taking your mind off stresses.
