    A dim light in car audio amplifier means that the supply of current to the device is not appropriate due to which the working is also effected and that is why the light is on dim display.

   You need to take it to a electrician to change the power wire to the amplifier because usually in these amplifier devices too much heavy current is required and if the wire connected is not compatible then the problem of low current cause the dim red light.
