What do I do when my restore points in system restore just simply don't work?

by Guest9338  | earlier | Views: 7 | Answers / Discussions: 1
I've recently encountered a virus and I've been trying system restore but every time I try to create a restore point, a popup reads "System Restore is not able to create a restore point. Please restart the computer and run System Restore again". Also when I try to click to click the bold dates on the calendar, nothing happens. I'm at a loss.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks plenty in advance!!!!

Running a registry cleaner may help.System restore is one of the first places viruses will usually attack first, so you can't use it to get rid of them.Go to www.glarysoft.com there is a very good registry cleaner, repair tool there and it's free.
