   After the hypnosis close and abduction of all three of the people, she was paralized just like the second man during his hypnosis session. Three cracked vertebra and paralyzed from the neck down.

   It appears that the same thing that happened to one of her patients happened to her, she apparently broke her neck from contorting her body when she was under hypnosis. That's my guess.
