My sister thinks that her kids have thread worm infections in her children and so I want to know about the symptoms for these infections in children. Help?

     There may not be many external symptoms to indicate that the children have threadworm infestations so it may go undetected. Though some of the common signs include an intense itchy feeling around the a**s, usually at night or early in the morning.


    Other symptoms of threadworm infestations in children include restless sleep, irritability, grinding of teeth in sleep, or a loss of appetite. In rare cases slight stomach pains associated with gastrointestinal upsets may be experienced.
