I have many times came across milestones while playing need for speed hot pursuit, I would like to know what does a driving milestone stands for in need for speed hot pursuit?

     milestones are when you drive your car it calculates the distance altogether you have drove when you reach a milestone so say if the milestone was 100 miles you will get certain ammount of points when one of your cars reaches 100 miles. it just helps you reach level 20 easier but there are loads of milestones which you can acchive if you drive the same car loads
