Water damage. My dishwasher flooded thru the floor and water drained thru the downstairs

My dishwasher flooded thru the floor and water drained thru the downstairs lightfixture.
The ceiling doesn't appear damaged from the outside but I assume it may be wet on the inside.
What steps should I take?

    If it's through the light fixture, test the light and then if it's not working or you have concerns call an electrician.
