I have a 2003 Elantra. Last year the warning bell began to sound. I took the car to Westchester Hyundai to be serviced. The repair was made. They indicated that it was a sensor problem in the door. Westchester Hyundai has since closed. The problem has started again. I am hesitant to take the car to another Hyundai dealership for fear of getting ripped off. I went to Guiffre Hyundai in Brooklyn to get an oil change three months ago and ended up paying over 1000.00 for other problems they found with the car. I called them today about the problem they informed me that I could not wait for the repair because they had to do perform diagnostic testing (that scares me $$$$) to see what is causing the problem. Is repairing the warning bell such a complicated problem.
