local small companies that try to compete directly with Wal-Mart often go out of business when the giant comes to town. But other wiser businesses, most likely those that don't go in a head to head competition with Wal-Mart, stay in their place. Recently traditional small ‘mom and pop’ businesses have raised their concerns for taking a political and court decisions to prevent the Wal-Mart from opening new stores virtually everywhere across the United States.
