As someone who watched most of them over and over, I'd immediately knock George off the list. He just didn't do it for me.
Sean Connory is the original 'Bond', and for many will always be the best.

Roger Moore brought unique humour to the part, but some of the scripts he had to work with bordered on dire.
I really enjoyed Timothy Dalton's two films. Ok, so the poor guy didn't get the chance to womanise as much as his predecesors {due to the views of the time}, but he was excellent in the action sequences.
Pierce Brosnan had originally been offered the Tim Dalton films, but was commited to an ongoing series. By the time he took over, good as he was, the films focused too much on gadgets.
I haven't seen the Daniel Craig film. Jason Isaacs would have been my choice...
So, with Sean, Roger and Pierce tied in second, my vote goes to Timothy Dalton.
