In reference to your appraisal inquiry regarding your Young Chang Concert Console Piano, Model F 108; 43½ inches tall. Manufactured in 1990. In very good condition. No damage, no repairs needed. Maintained in a climate controlled residential environment. When this instrument is tuned the value is $2,450.00. Based on the age, condition, size, grade and rarity of this piano. This refers to the price that you would need to pay to buy the nearest equivalent to your piano. This is the actual value of your piano as it stands in your living room . This is the amount you want to insure your piano for in case of loss or damage. This is the amount an insurance company would pay in case of loss.

Sounds inexpensive to me! I was just looking at some to buy (upright) and new ones were about $7000 (Cdn) - 48", model BT121 on www.youngchang.com. I also just found this site: http://ebookofpiano.com/pricepointpiano/sitemap.html which says it's the "blue book of pianos", giving values. The grand pianos on there are WAY more than $3200 (check the link!), esp. depending which model you're talking about. 10 years is not very old because they keep their value well. I would snap it up!! :) ***Sorry - I was answering the post below about a 10-yr-old grand. Didn't see the original one till after. But you can check the links too! :)

Someone is offering 10 years old Baby Grand Young Chang Piano for $3,200.00 I don't have model numbers. Piano condition is good. Tuned last year, and Tuner said it is built with Yamaha pieces. Is this good price?
