My question is regarding a wine bottle as I do not happen to have much knowledge about the wines and their values. I have recently come across a number of 1963 St Martino Vino Chianti, which is supposed to be a famous brand. What would you think the value of a bottle of this would be?

As far as the value of 1963 Vino Chianti is concerned, this wine for some reasons was never made or was never meant for such long term aging. For this reason, the wine is now well past its prime time of consumption. If the wine has a faded nose with tired flavors and pale caramelized color, it would have no value to wine connoisseurs. Although there can be many people who would love to have a wine belonging to early 60s. But somehow, the problem is that not many people are found to be looking for such an older brand as there are many other brands and tastes available in the market. If there comes out to be someone who just likes to have a collection of some old and antique wines, there is a chance that these bottles of 1963 Vino Chianti could get sold out giving some value if not as much as desired. It may be dangerous so as to drink as it is not meant to be kept for a long time. The best way to get it sold out is by contacting an auctioneer.
