VX2255WMB screen flashing white

My VX2255WMB screen has started flashing - no image just a full white screen that flashes between black and white which makes it unusable. Does this mean the screen has died? It's only 2 years old and hardly ever used while I have other Viewsonic screens still going strong 5 years on.

    No. Never got any response. I think the screen itself is gone. I changed cables on my PC to check that but problem srill exists so it's not cables.

    Did you ever find a solution to the problem. I just started having the same problem. I do not suspect it is the cable because the on screen menu does not even display
